In your opinion, what looks better on a young black man when it comes to diamond earrings? Round or square?

Id say square. And get the 4mm or the 6mm. 8 and 10 are too big.

You’ll get more sparkle from a round than you will from a square.

It depends on the shape of your face and shoulders. On a man, I would suggest something a little larger or broader (talking about cut, not carrot count).
What setting are you going to get? yellow gold, white gold? platinum?

In my opinion I would rather not see them in at all, but if they are worn I would say a square cut is best no larger than 6mm…millimeters
