How do I tell my husband I don’t want any more pearl necklaces?

My husband recently got into the habit of giving me necklaces perles.La first was a real surprise, but now I get 17 in the last month and gets totally out of control. My jewelry box is overflowing and I can use more than one in the same temps.C is obviously a matter of pride that he is able to provide for me that way, but I want to start suggestions diamond earrings instead?

Don’t hint. tell him straight. Something along the lines of “Darling, I love the necklaces you have given me, but I would like to move to a different style. Do you think I would look good in diamonds?”

There’s a dirty meanining of pearl necklaces. If he;s given you 17 real pearl necklaces , just keep putting them in your jewellery boxes.!

You can tell him that you have a lot of pearl necklaces now, and you’d like something new to have, diamond earrings. You could also say what you wrote here, that you can’t wear more then one at the same time.

best way to solve this… pop the brochure from diamond shop in his briefcase with a love note, and replace it daily, remember we are guys and can take longer to retrain than you may like and soon that is all he’ll see…
but if you do not want any more pearl necklaces he may think something is wrong and offer them to some other gal

Jewelry sucks! I would rather have a non stop supply of Bare Minerals makeup, expensive shampoo, and a fully stocked liquor cabinet at all times. Wouldn’t you?

I would wear all the necklaces at once for him to realize that you have a nice stash already. And yes, start dropping hints about the diamond earrings.

Next time you go the jewelry shop do somthing like ohh darling those diamond earrings are to die for,that should clue him in.
